What is a resin bound stone surface?
A resin bound stone surface is created by mixing decorative granite, flint and quartz stone that range in size from 1mm to 6mm with a high-quality polyurethane resin that creates a solid surface.
Are resin surfaces hard-wearing?
Resin surfaces are extremely hard-wearing and relatively low in maintenance. Resin surfaces are permeable (allows liquids or gasses to pass through) and comply with SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) resulting in a reduced flood risk.
Where can resin surfaces be installed?
Resin surfaces can be installed both internally and externally and have both domestic and commercial applications. Perhaps the most common uses are internal flooring, driveways, patios, footways, cycleways, car parks and commercial properties.
What are the main advantages of a resin bound surface?
• Environmentally friendly
• Slip resistant
• Easy maintenance
• Choice of colours (and decorative elements)
• Weed resistant
